1st Charles Reinke easily recorded another first-place finish thanks to his 4-1 +492 record. A large chunk of those spread points were gained at the expense of Thomas Reinke, as the first of their two contests ended quite lopsidedly in favor of Charles, 503-340. In that match, Charles unleashed a trio of high-probability bingos (NITROSO, CORSETED, ENLISTED) while Thomas had the more uncommon TEABERRY (which anagrams to the easier-to-spot BETRAYER). However, in their second contest, Thomas took back the initiative in their seventeen-years-running series with a 387-435 win, despite Charles' find of UNIBROW. Since Charles was playing in a 2-on-1 at the time, the pain of that loss was salved by a 417-366 victory over Peter Schmiedicke, who found that his impressively low-scoring bingo of OLEASTER for 57 points just wasn't quite enough.

2nd Helen Flores finished with a strong win-loss record of 3-1 but a less strong spread of -118 which was nevertheless good for second place. The brighest-shining jewel on her jewel-encrusted crown was a dangerously close 419-416 win over current club standings leader Thomas Reinke. Helen outbingoed the normally bingo-crazed Thomas 2-1, playing OVERRAN and TANGLERS to Thomas' sole DRESSING. Helen also has a solid 383-327 win over Sara McLaughlin thanks to a bingo of OUTSPAN. However, a 352-456 loss to Charles Reinke, who played the triple-triple BONNETED for 158 points in his winning effort, spelled doom for Helen's cumulative point spread for the night.

1st Charles Reinke finished almost 500 spread points ahead of the nearest competition as he went 4-1 +564. His first game was also his highest-scoring, as he dropped a cool 544 points against Peter Schmiedicke in a 544-331 victory. Charles got down bingos of RETICENT, UPTALKED, and BARYTON while Peter had IRONIEST and EUDEMON. On the other side of the victory spectrum, Charles narrowly escaped with the win against Sara McLaughlin, the final score of their game being 432-420. Sara matched Charles bingo-for-bingo as she played WILDEST and POETISED against Charles' PEDALOS and CHEERLED. A 372-391 loss to Thomas Reinke proved to be Charles' only loss of the evening, despite Charles' 103-point EXPIRES.

2nd Thomas Reinke went 3-1 with a comparatively minuscule point spread of +74. He started things off with a closely-contested 403-384 bout against Helen Flores. Helen struck first with DIVESTS, but Thomas eventually got ANODIZE to propel him to victory. Thomas' best game was against Peter Shmiedicke, a 448-335 win featuring bingos of MONOGRAM, ADENINES, and DHOOLIES. (After the game, Peter was heard saying that he will never again consent to play against any person with the last name "Reinke"). Thomas was on his way to an undefeated session until he faced his brother in the final round and lost, 387-474. Charles' monster FEIJOAS for 122 was simply too high-scoring to be overcome.

1st Thomas Reinke acquitted himself quite nicely with a 4-1 +423 record. He scored above 500 in three of his five games, with two of those coming against the formidable Scrabbling force that is his brother Charles. The first of those was a 520-431 win, where Thomas played RETINAS, DIERETIC, GENDARME, and LONGLEAF, and the second was a 529-458 victory which saw Thomas slap down SCARTING, ASPERSING, and GLEAMIER with relative ease. However, the full power of his Scrabble-playing might was reserved for Helen Flores, whom he took down by a score of 569-328. Helen got to play MEANIES in that game, which is an accurate description of the Reinke brothers.

2nd Peter Schmiedicke continued his comeback tour with a 3-1 +188 final tally. He handed Thomas Reinke his only loss when he won a squeaker, 436-427. Bingos of INCREASE, DINKIER, and ARMOIRES were deployed by Peter to great effect. On the lower-scoring end of the spectrum, Peter won another close one against Sara McLaughlin, 344-327. His single loss was to Charles Reinke, 387-416, despite outbingoing his opponent 2-1 (NOTATED and INTERRED for Peter, BOGLANDS for Charles).
